    This time, participants were informed that they were to pump up 30 balloons and that each balloon pump earned them $0.05 money points and these money points would purchase tickets to enter them into a raffle for a $100 Amazon.com gift card. Consistent with previous applications of the BART (e.g., Lejuez et al., 2002, Welker et al., 2016b) and Study 2, the average number of balloon pumps (M = 9.53, SD = 3.57) was calculated from the number of pumps on unexploded balloons (M = 18.50 balloons, SD = 3.83).2 Based on a participant's conversation with the researcher, we determined that one participant misunderstood the directions on the BART.
